Electric Bikes are an exciting new technology but their high price has been a problem that has put them out of reach for most cyclists. The new range of E-Bikes from eTOURER is looking more and more like the solution that’s needed.
eTOURER’s offering of great value E-Bikes is designed to meet a variety of needs, whether you’re commuting to work, exploring the country or trying to keep up with the grandkids. They provide powered assistance that allows all cyclists the freedom to go further and see more.
Riding an E-Bike is a lot like riding a normal bike, only easier. Pedalling engages the wheel mounted electric motor, propelling you forward up to flat-out 25km/h. The adjustable front suspension from SR-Suntour flattens unruly trails and Tektro’s hydraulic disc brakes will bring you to a quick stop. The digital display accurately conveys useful information such as your current speed, battery life and the distance you’ve travelled. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano unit and together it all culminates in a cycling experience that feels familiar except for one key thing - you’re not sweating or out of breath, it’s just easy!
Electric bikes are known to offer a level of “sturdiness” and it would be preferable if the M1 were slightly lighter. However, the weight of the bike’s batteries and motor are easily managed by the ever-helpful walk assist feature that nudges the bike alongside you as you walk. The quality components of eTOURER’s M1 E-Bike add up to a product that would be great value at a much higher price point, but for under $2000.00, this is value that can’t be beaten.
The M1 E-Bike from eTOURER, along with the rest of their range, solves the problem of expensive assisted cycling. If you’re in the market for an electric bike, you can’t look past the great value that eTOURER represents.

Here at eTOURER, we were inspired watching him back in ‘04 when he helped put Australian Cycling on the map by winning Gold at the Athens Olympics. So, we decided to get in touch and show him one of our E-Bikes. His thoughts? He loved it! “I get to the shops much fast now,” he said. “The components are just what I need and the ride is great. I might even start commuting to work on one – no sweat!”
